The Tommy Kid Foundation's 4th Annual Golf Outing

The Tommy Kid Foundation hosted its 4th Annual Golf Outing at Shackamaxon Country Club on August 26, 2024, and what an incredible day it was! With the sun shining and spirits high, the event brought together golfers, volunteers, and guests who shared a common goal: to make a difference in the fight against Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, we are thrilled to announce that we raised over $26,000 in net proceeds.

With more than 120 enthusiastic golfers hitting the greens, dedicated volunteers, and dinner guests joining the evening festivities, the day was filled with fun, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to a worthy cause. From the early morning check-ins to the final putts on the 18th hole, the atmosphere was electric with excitement. Golfers competed in a friendly yet spirited round, enjoying the beautifully manicured course at Shackamaxon Country Club.

Our volunteers played an integral role in ensuring the day ran smoothly, from registration and raffle sales to managing on-course contests and cheering on participants. Their hard work and enthusiasm embodied the spirit of The Tommy Kid Foundation, reminding us all that the event is about more than just golf—it's about coming together to support those in need.

In addition to the golf, attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner where we celebrated the day's success and recognized our generous sponsors and supporters. The evening was capped off with a raffle and auction, featuring incredible prizes that added to the excitement and helped push our fundraising efforts over the top.

The funds raised from this year's golf outing will directly support the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, an organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the quality of life for those affected. This cause is close to our hearts, and we are honored to contribute to the important work being done to advance research, provide patient support, and raise awareness.
